Curriculum Vitae




Graduated in Chemistry, Summa cum Laude, at the University of Padova in 1993. Visiting scholar in Prof. Klaus Möbius group, at the Freie Universität of Berlin in 1994. Ph.D. degree in Chemistry at the University of Padova in 1997, under the supervision of Prof. Giovanni Giacometti. Postdoctoral research associate in the group of Prof. Gerald T. Babcock, at the Michigan State University from 1997-1999. Research associate in Physical Chemistry at the Science faculty of the University of Padova since 1999. Research activities: Spectroscopic applications of advanced magnetic resonance techniques of electron spin resonance on biological systems, in the investigation of electron transfer and energy transfer processes in natural and artificial photosynthetic systems. Pulsed-EPR applications to metallo-proteins. Author of 40 papers on the subject. Teaching activities: Physical Chemistry III for the three-years bachelor degree in Chemistry and Physico-chemical Methods applied to Biology for the degree in Chemistry.
