Cristina Peggion is Professor at the Department of Chemical Sciences, University of Padova, Italy.
After graduating at the University of Padova in 1993 (thesis title: "Trichogin A IV: a lipopeptaibol antibiotic"), in 1994 Cristina undertook research work at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, with a European Peptide Society Exchange Grant.
In 1995-1998 she dedicated to Ph.D. work at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland (thesis title: "Synthetic approaches to vaccines applying the template concept for protein design", supervisor: Prof. M. Mutter).
In 1998-2000 she worked with a post-doctoral fellow from DSM Research (Geleen, The Netherlands), for a project titled "Synthesis and conformational studies of peptides containing new Cα‑tetrasubstituted α‑amino acids produced by a chemo-enzymatic methodology".
ACADEMIC
In 2017 she got the position of Associate Professor at the University of Padova2000: Researcher at the University of PadovaIn 2000 she got the position of Young Researcher at the University of Padova, and in 2003 she became Tenure Researcher at the same University.
1993: laurea in Chimica presso l'Università di Padova (110/110).
1996. diploma: "Diplôme de Langue Française de l'Alliance Française" (Paris).
