The instrument at our disposal is a commercial Bruker spectrometer: ESP-380E. To the basic configuration a pulsed ENDOR unit and a laser have been added. The cryostat allows to measure down to 4K, using liquid helium and down to 80K using liquid nitrogen as a coolant.

The laser, a Nd-YAG by Quantel wavelength (1064nm), is equipped with the second (532nm), third (355nm) and fourth (266nm) harmonic generators, and an Otical Parametric Oscillator unit to obtain an output going from 420nm to 680nm and from 750nm to 1000nm.

The chemistry laboratories are equipped to treat the samples from the beginning of the preparation to the sealing of the EPR tube under vacuum.
