The Spin Chemistry
Meeting 2007 will take
place in June 2007 in S. Servolo (Venice). S. Servolo is a
small island with modern conference facilities very close to the Venice centre,
only 10 minutes by public transportation motorboat from St. Marco square.
Scientific program will consist
of oral (25 minutes) and poster presentations.
The followings
topics will be considered:
§
Magnetic field effects on chemical reaction yields and reaction
kinetics.
§
Spin polarisation in EPR and NMR spectra (CIDEP and CIDNP).
§
Radical pair chemistry and photoelectron transfer reactions.
§
Photosynthetic systems.
§
Effects of strong magnetic field on crystal grow and other physical
processes.
§
Magnetic field effects on biological and living systems.
§
Kinetics of free radical reactions in solution.
§
Possible biological effects of low frequency and radiofrequency
electromagnetic fields.
§
Animal magnetoreception.
§
Magnetic isotopen effects.
§
Nuclear spin polarisation in para-Hydrogen systems.
Social program will include
a visit to Venice and
other social activities.
