Dr Benjamin Erable is a CNRS researcher leading the multidisciplinary group « Biofilm engineering for energy, synthesis and corrosion » at the Laboratory of Chemical Engineering, University of Toulouse.

His research activities cover the domains of electro-active biofilms and bioelectrochemical systems, bio-reactivity of micro-organisms and biodeterioration in extreme conditions (hyper alkaline denitrification, aerobic hydrogenase activity).
