I obtained my Ph.D.-degree in 1993 from DTU in the area magnetic properties of nano-particles. Since then I have been engaged with R&D on functional ceramics and their application (e.g. in SOFC/SOEC), with particular emphasis on mixed conductors, thin films, oxygen exchange kinetics and high temperature corrosion. Since 2006 I have served as head of section. I was appointed professor in 2011.
