Hua Zhang

Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

Dr. Hua Zhang obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees at Nanjing University in China in 1992 and 1995, respectively, and completed his Ph.D. at Peking University in China in July 1998. After he worked as postdoc with Prof. Frans C. De Schryver at KULeuven and Prof. Chad Mirkin at Northwestern University, Research Scientist in NanoInk, and Senior Research Scientist at Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology in Singapore, he joined Nanyang Technological University (NTU) as an Assistant Professor in July 2016. He was promoted to Full Professor on Sept. 1, 2013. He has published 5 invited book chapters, 68 patent applications (including 8 granted US patents), and over 390 papers with total citation times of 32,800 and H-index of 88. His current research interests focus on the synthesis and applications of ultrathin two-dimensional nanomaterials and complex heterostructures, etc.
