Prof. J. Arbiol is ICREA research professor since 2009, leader of the Advanced Electron Nanoscopy Group at ICN2, vice-president of the Spanish Microscopy Society (SME) and obtained the EU40 Materials Prize in 2014 (E-MRS). His research concerns the atomic resolution structural analyses of nanomaterials in correlation with their growth mechanisms and physical properties. Co-authored 275 papers with more than 8900 citations.
