Ronald Michalsky received a M.S. in Biotechnology from the University of Applied Sciences Mittelhessen in 2008 and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University in 2012. In 2013, he completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University and started as a research associate at ETH Zürich. His research is in the areas of materials science, electronic structure theory, surface science, concentrated solar energy, catalysis, and membrane technology.
