Assoc. Prof. Fride Vullum-Bruer, NTNU, Norway has since 2002 worked with development of electrode materials for Li-ion batteries and has for the past 4 years also been engaged with Mg and Li-air batteries. Her main interest is in the materials synthesis with focus on tailoring of structure and morphology to optimize battery performance. In addition to the batteries, she is also involved with research on solid oxide fuel cells and thin film synthesis for photovoltaic applications.
