Dr. Ilie Hanzu is a senior scientist at Graz University of Technology, Austria. He earned his doctoral degree at Université de Provence, France and he was a post-doctoral researcher at Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany. A physical chemist by training, he is interested in materials for electrochemical energy storage, nanoscale effects as well as transport phenomena in solid electrolytes and active materials. His core topics include Li-ion and Na-ion batteries.
