Critical Raw Materials for safe and resilient Europe
The Summer School will be held in Caorle (VE) from 3 to 7 June 2024 at the Hotel Venezia in Caorle.
The School is dedicated to PhD students, assignees, post-docs and young researchers and will deal with the topic of raw materials supply in a circular economy perspective, also referring to the demands and obligations that the new Critical Raw Materials Act of the European Union imposes on the various European countries.
The school is organised with frontal lessons on the most general and introductory topics, but the participants will have the opportunity to analyse and discuss, together with the lecturers who are experts in the subject, the technological, economic and social issues and the still unresolved needs to make our European countries self-sufficient in the supply of critical and strategic materials.
Participants at the end of the course will have acquired a broad knowledge and a comprehensive view of the issues surrounding CRMs and will be able to deal with these issues in a more conscious and responsible manner.
Enrolment to the school is free of charge, but for logistical and organisational reasons it is necessary (conditio sine qua non) that participants stay at the Hotel Venezia in Caorle with which the School has stipulated a full board agreement for four nights (3-4-5-6 June) which includes: lunch, dinner and coffee breaks on 3 June and breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee breaks on 4, 5 and 6 June + breakfast on 7 June.
