The Graduate Course in Molecular Sciences (Corso di Dottorato in Scienze Molecolari – CDSM) offers the highest level of formation in the field of molecular sciences at the University of Padova. The Graduate Course has a formal agreement with the Department of Chemical Sciences and Materials Technology of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR).
The ambition of CDSM is to prepare PhD-students in the best possible way for high-level research jobs in the field of chemical and pharmaceutical sciences in industry and academics. The formation of the students is based on two pillars: research and training .
The Collegio dei Docenti is constituted of 61 members of the Departments of Chemical Sciences (DiSC) and Pharmaceutical Sciences (DSF) and 4 members of CNR. An external advisory board composed of prof. Chris Hunter (University of Cambridge, UK), prof. Avelino Corma (Polytechnical University of Valencia, Spain), prof. Francoise Remacle (University of Liege, B) and prof. Cameron Alexander (University of Nottingham, UK) serves as independent external guarantees for the quality of the training program.
